About St Paul's
Founded in 1872, St Paul's today is an active and welcoming Anglican church in Beckenham, South London.
In our web pages you will find lots more information on what we do, who we are and how you will be made welcome within in our church family.
We are very pleased to be worshipping in the church building again. At St Paul’s, we are taking a phased approach to returning, using July, August and September as a probationary period to adjust and adapt to the new challenges. We are reintroducing our services according to the following schedule:
19th July - 10.00 am, Morning Worship *
26th July - 8.00am, BCP Holy Communion *
2nd August - 11.15am, Family Church *
* and every Sunday thereafter during the probationary period
Church Opening Hours for Private Prayer -
Wednesdays 12 noon - 4pm
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9am - 4pm
All sorts of church and community activities held in the halls, including our popular Babies and Toddler group and Home Groups were suspended during lockdown, but we hope many will be resuming at soon.
St Paul's is a welcoming and caring church not just for its members but for all in the Parish. If you would like to discuss personal matters and needs then please contact the Vicar as below and he, or one of our qualified team of Pastoral Assistants, will make arrangements to talk to you in full confidentiality.
Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
Weddings, baptisms and funerals are now able to take place in the church once again. We recognise that bereavements are particularly difficult at the moment and the government restrictions around them. We bring a Christian compassion to these and can discuss with you the appropriate arrangements, not just for a Service, but also pastoral support.
Please contact the Vicar to discuss how we can be alongside you
St Paul’s is an open, supportive community of people discovering and living out the Christian faith together with a vision of :-
Sharing God’s love, revealed in Jesus Christ.
