connect @ St paul's
Connect @ St Paul's is our programme of community events. As the Parish Church for New Beckenham, we are committed to help building our community irrespective of faith or none. Tackling loneliness and encouraging opportunities for good neighbourliness are our aims.
Regular Events
Our Saturday Connect Café takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9.30-11.30am. Join us for good coffee, good company, bacon butties, book exchange, enviromental advice, children's toys and activities!
Our Connect Community Litter Picking Team departs from the monthly Connect Café at 9.30am for an hour to help keep New Beckenham’s streets clean. Hi-vis jackets and litter pickers are provided. This is a fun activity for all the family! Enjoy a free bacon breakfast, and nice comments from our neighbours when they see our efforts.
During the winter months we are hosting monthly free soup lunches on Fridays. Please see our Events page for dates.
Our thriving Babies & Toddlers group meets weekly on Thursday mornings in term time, from 10-11.30am, and includes toys, music and refreshments.
Our Friendship Group for older neighbours meets weekly for chat, tea and informal talks of interest on Thursday afternoons during term time at 2.30pm.
